These electric pumps are used in sludge filter pumps, separator cyclones, for the pumping of enamel and slip, for the recycling of industrial waters.
Manufacturing specifications:
A specific feature of these pumps is the absence of packing glands in contact with the abrasive liquid, as they would have a minimum duration. This type of pump is not self-priming, therefore it is necessary that the liquid level is always sufficient to cover the body/impeller unit especially during start-up.
- SHAFT
Pump shaft with sealed chamber bearings sized in such a way as to allow the part of impeller side shaft to work cantilevered without supports immersed in the liquid. - BODY
The body, in cast iron, is divided into two halves with protective coating in special moulded anti-wear compound, composed of two replaceable and adjustable shells from the outside both to allow a quick and convenient replacement, and to eliminate any variations in performance caused by normal wear. - IMPELLER
The anti-clogging and open type impeller, consisting of a steel core coated in a special anti-abrasive compound. We recommend the installation of an anti-abrasive rubber pipe or an anti-vibration joint between the pump delivery mouth and the fixed piping of the system that allows, in addition to the anti-vibration function, to simplify the disassembly and maintenance operations in general.
