Idroelettrica S.p.A. is an Italian company, founded in 1979 in San Cesario sul Panaro (MO), by the expertise and passion of Giancarlo Alberghini, who since the beginning has set himself the goal of solving in a professional, fast and reliable way the many problems related to the pumping and distribution of water, starting from that moment, to designing and building electric pumps and electrical control equipment, suitable for industrial, irrigation and fire-fighting protection uses.

Investments in new production systems, made over the years, have led Idroelettrica to being today, one of the main players in the market of civil, industrial and fire-fighting pressurisation systems.

A high internal autonomy, in the management of the entire production process, combined with a large stock of products available in the warehouse, today allow the company to process orders more quickly and dynamically, and to optimise delivery times.

Continuous research, and Idroelettrica's ability to propose new ideas and new solutions, are the foundations for increasingly effective competition on international markets.

  Idroelettrica was founded in San Cesario sul Panaro (MO) by Giancarlo Alberghini, a young entrepreneur, who with his passion created a small workshop for the construction of electric pumps and electrical panels.    
    The company leaves the small laboratory and moves to a real industrial plant of 4,500 square metres, strengthening its identity on the national territory  
  The first pumping unit is produced for fire-fighting use according to UNI 9490    
    It obtains the certification of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System issued by DNV GL Business Assurance Italia Srl.  
  Construction of the first prefabricated fire-fighting room called Firebox.    
    The first FIREBOX made according to UNI 11292 is released. Success is immediate.  
. The new production site was inaugurated, which tripled the company's space. In addition to the production departments and warehouse, the new plant houses new management offices, research and development, a conference room, a permanent training station and a 130kW photovoltaic system that provides an important contribution to energy saving policies, in which the company has always been at the forefront
